Tonbridge Lions Club have been given approval by the BTF to introduce a new event in 2019; a special, greatly shortened race for those who want a relatively easy introduction to their first Triathlon.
The Go-Tri event will comprise a 200-metre swim; a 14-kilometre cycle course and a 2.5-kilometre run.
Apart from a swimming costume no specialist equipment is required. Rules and regulations are identical to the main Triathlon event.
The entry fee is £15.00.

Triathlon Training Opportunities
At 12.00 on Saturday 13th April 2019, VO2 Fitness training are offering a pre-event training session at The Walled Garden, Noble Tree Road, Hildenborough, Kent, TN11 8ND, on Triathlon cycling and running as well as the principles of Transition, given by Paula and Jimmy George.
Paula is a British Triathlon Level 3 Coach with over 15 years of experience. She has successfully coached athletes to National and World titles and has competed at all distances of triathlon, up to and including International level. Jimmy is a level 2 Triathlon Coach and has competed in Triathlon and Duathlon to International Age Group Level over all distances.
